Rainbow's End is the principal theme park in Auckland . Opened in 1982, it is at Manukau, about an hour from the centre of the city, and offers the usual variety of rides for children and ex-children. The park is open daily from 10:00 until 17:00 (later in summer) and admission costs $40, including unlimited rides. Rainbow's End is one of the sites participating in the Superpass scheme, which gives admission to this, the Sky Tower and Kelly Tarlton's, together with a voyage to Rangitoto and back with Fullers ferries, for a total of $69, all four attractions to be experienced within four weeks.
