The Harbour Bridge also offers the chance to launch oneself into space depending solely upon the reliability of Mr. Hackett's rubber band. The jump is 40 metres, actually the lowest of the jumps offered by A.J. Hackett in New Zealand .
The starting point is as for the Harbour Bungy above, and the telephone number for reservations is 0800 GO BUNGY. Jumps operate every day from 9:00 until 17:00 and the cost is $85. Spectators may ascend the bridge to a viewing platform for $20. If they then change their minds and decide to take the plunge, the $20 will be deducted from the cost of the jump. A bungy jump plus a climb of the Harbour Bridge costs $140.
