This is a display of the Antarctic, as in Scott's time as well as now, and of many types of fish and water dwellers, including penguins, sharks, whales, stingrays, octopuses, sea horses and piranha. There are clear underwater tunnels from which to study the inhabitants and educational displays. Kelly Tarlton's is open from 9:00 until 18:00 every day, and admission costs $26.
Admission for one tear costs $60. Kelly Tarlton's is one of the sites participating in the Superpass scheme, which gives admission to this, the Sky Tower and Rainbow's End, together with a voyage to Rangitoto and back with Fullers ferries, for a total of $69, all four attractions to be experienced within four weeks.
Transport – Bus 713, 746, 756, 757, 767, 769 (15 minutes, every 15 minutes). There is also a free bus leaving from the Discover New Zealand Travel Centre at 180 Quay Street and from the Sky City Hotel eight times a day.
